3 shrimp are white and the rest are red. I have 9 shrimp that are swimming around. There is a little algae growing on the plants. They are eating the algae that I feed them. It looks like that i have 2 mothers with babies.
I feed it and watched it. Do not leave in the sun. Feed daily for a month. If the water is low fill with water. Leave it in cool spot.
Today we added Opae`Ula to our habitat. We already had shrimps we start with 5 shrimps and I have four shrimp dollars and I got 9 shrimps in my habitat. On Mondays I am going to learn about how to feed the Opae`Ula. We add two sticky strips to our cover its like memory foam. We also add a hole to make the Opae`Ula breathe.
Today we put on a fake plant to make a resting spot. Its suppose to be like a hotel for more landing place. It also grows some algae for the Opae`Ula to eat. We left our rock to dried out to glue the plant to our rock. We also found a place to put the plant.
We are putting in the bacteria gravel and rock to collect algae. We put Freshwater and mixed it with Instant Ocean sea salt. We measured the water by a hydrometer. We also going to add Decomposer, Producer, Bacteria, and Rocks. We add the rosk because It has Bacteria to grow algae.
We are getting ready to preparing the gravel. I mix the water and put in the gravel. I also poured the water in the bucket to mix. We put 15 spoonfuls of gravel. I hope tomorrow we will mix the water
There are suppose to be a 1,000 Opae`Ula in there. They eat algae and they are from the Big island. I am looking forward to bringing it home with me. Is the Opae`Ula native to Hawaii? I hope to get at least 5 Opae`Ula coming home with me. Why are they losing there color? Why do there legs move while swimming.
