My Opae'ula is fine. My Opae'ula's did not change. The Opae'ulas are very active and they swim around a lot. There is no algae growing in my habitat. I have been feeding my Opae'ula's every 3 days. Some of my Opae'ula's are still red. My habitat gets not to much sunlight. I have 1 with eggs. The one that has eggs is in the back you cant see it.
Today I took my Opae'ula home. I now have 8 shrimp. I take care of the shrimp in my room on my desk in a safe part. I like taking my shrimp home now I can feed my shrimp. I also like them at home because now I can have pet shrimp and take care of it by myself. I also like my shrimp at home because I can see what the shrimp do when they first get there food.
Today we learned how to take care of our opae ula habitat. You also need to get the food the places you can get the food from is whole food and and down to earth the food you need is spirilina make sure it is not the tablet form just the powder. If you want to feed the opae ula you need the toothpick and put its food on the top of the toothpick and put very little then dab it on to the habitat. To keep its food good you nedd to put it into the fridge and also you cant have there food wet if not then it will turn into mold. If there is a dead opae ula then use a McDonald's straw and hold the top of it with your thumb then get close then take your fingers off and it will suck up the dead opae ula.
Today, we made a cover for our opae'ula by drilling the top off of the cap. We also got our shrimp and we got 5 extra shrimp. We also got to edit our 2nd movie of the opae'ula shrimp. We also had to make sure if the temperature was not to hot or to cold.
This is a picture of opae'ula in a tank swimming. Opae'ula is a red shrimp. It eats Spirulina and algae of the rocks. In the picture the shrimp are climbing the rocks. The shrimp is swimming up to get there food. Some shrimp turn light color on things. The bigger ones swim faster and the smaller ones swim slower.
