The first step was to pour the gravel into your jar. Next you pour the gravel into a bucket and rinse the gravel so the water is clean and clear. You mix the gravel. Then use your hands and scoop the gravel into your vase. Last you put water into your vase to see if you have enough gravel. This is a little heads up if you you don`t hold it with one hand at the bottom of the vase and the other on the side then it will crack. Now you have your gravel for your Opae`ula wait for next time for the rest of it.
The Opae`ula got its name because Opae means shrimp and ula means red put together it means red shrimp.The Opae`ula are from a big pond in Hawaii.The bigger Opae`ula are faster and harder to catch. The smaller Opae`ula one are easier to catch. the Opae`ula eat algae off a rock and Spairulina. They can also be white or pink when there scared or shocked. The Opae`ula can die if they are in to hot and to cold temperature the temperature has to be just right. |
