The past few months my opae'ula have been doing very very well. None of them have died yet and they are all still red. Now I feed my opae ula once a week.Since I had them for a long time I think they are more comfortable in their new habitat.
My Opae'ula are doing very well and I still have 12 and none of them have baibies and I have been taking care of my opae'ula and none have died. I feed my opae'ula almost everyday and they are always red.My opae'ula are doing very well and I hope i have babies soon.
The past few months I have been taking care of my opae'ula have gone very well and I still feed them very often and have the same amount of opae'ula (12). When i feed them I love how they crawl on the top upside down. It seems so weird that I feed them so often but some rarely eat. Any way my opae'ula are doing well and in this picture I just fed them and as you can see some are on the rock.
My opae'ula are doing very well and they like resting on the rock. I still only have 12 opae'ula and most of them are bright red. When i feed them most of them come up and start eating but son still stay on the rock. Anyway none of them had or have babies but are doing very very very well
My opae'ula are doing good and none of them have died yet. I still only have 12 opae'ula and I feed them almost every day. I also see some of my opae'ula get big and the first month is doing well.
Today I took home my Opae`ula. During summer school I earned 10 Opae`ula. I have put my opae`ula tank by the lamp in my kitchen. When I took my opae`ula home I had to bring a small bag a towel and a bottle that can hold water. The reason why we needed all those supplies is because when we took it home we wrapped the towel around the opae`ula tank and placed it in the small bag and we put some of the water in the jar because if it is too close to the cover it might leak if you tip it and thats how I took home my opae`ula.
Today we learned how to take care of the opae`ula. First we learned the life cycle of the opae`ula. The opae`ula starts of at an egg, then its a larvae, next its a juvenile, then molted shell last it is an adult. Next you should not feed your opae`ula too much or it will pollute the water and if you feed them too little then the will get smaller just feed the opae`ula a small amount not a big scoop unless you have a lot of opae`ula. The water in the opae`ula habitat needs to have a small space between the cover and the water line. Today we made the cover and put in our shrimp in the tank. First we got a cover that can fit our tank and made an air hole. Then we put memory foam around the edge of the cover( to keep its place)and put it on the tank. Next we got the shrimp and put it in the tank. Last we sealed the cover on the tank and we finished our opae`ula habitat and this is how we made our tank cover and put in our opae`ula. I am also very excited to take them home and watch them grow
Today we glued the plant to the rock. First we took our rock out of our opae`ula habitat. Next we put the rocks out in the sun to dry. Then we got hot glue and put the glue on the bottom of the plant. After we placed the plant where we wanted it. Last we let the glue dry and then we place the rock back in the habitat, So thats how we made the rock or accessory.
