This weekend I fed my opae'ula and they ate a lot this weekend. Now they are more active. They would swim all day! They would eatore then usual. I kept them in the same place I keep them and that is my room! Some mold came on my toothpick also. No opae'ula died. I still have 8 opae'ula and none of them breed Today, I brought home my habitat! I was so excited for this moment! When I got home I fed my shrimp. What I observed was that they're swimming, eating, and climbing on the rock and plant. Today, me and the class got a care book for our habitat. Its all about the shrimp and how to take care of it. It is also about its life cycle, if its a ecosystem, anatomy, and its water temperature and the sun. Its also about how to feed it. You feed it with a toothpick. it tells what it eats and if it lives in salt or fresh water. It also tells you what might cause it if you do something bad to it.

This is a photo of Opae'ula swimming in it's tank. In the background, you see Opae'ula swimming. Also climbing on the rock. The Opae'ula is swimming a lot because they are eating food called Spirulina. It also eats algae on rocks. Opae"ula are red shrimp that eat algae. the shrimp swim up to get its food.
